2010 THRILL OF THE HILL FUNDRAISER

March 27, 2010 - 6pm to 10pm

Featuring live music from LITTLE EVA AND THE WORKS

The Thrill of the Hill Fundraiser is a family event. Activities will include live music from Little Eva and the Works who will thrill the crowd with everything from classic rock to funky blues and R & B. Families will also enjoy carnival games, bingo, cake walks, pinewood derby racing, door prizes and raffles. A silent auction will also be held including many collectibles and unique Kansas City items and experiences. Premium reserved tables on the main floor located near the band are $100. Standard reserved tables are $80. General admission is $10 for adults and children 13 and older (12 and younger are free). Admission includes free parking. Snacks, pizza, and beverages will be available for purchase in addition to a cash bar. All proceeds will go to track improvements and resurfacing of the dedicated track located at 4600 Eastern Avenue. The Thrill of the Hill Fundraiser will also include two special pinewood derby races. Entrants can build a 5-ounce pinewood derby car to standard specs for the trophy race or get creative and build an outlaw 7-ounce pinewood car for the cash prizes race.
